Day 1 : Arrival Hanoi

Up on arrival at the airport in Hanoi, you will be met and transferred to hotel for check in.

Day 2 : Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

This morning we will be met at the lobby of the hotel and transfer to Halong Bay. On the way we will stop at Sao Do town at a Handicraft farm that main workers are handicraft people. We will have a short break for relax with tea, coffee or walk around. After that we continue on transferring to Halong city. At midday, we arrive at Halong Bay pier where we will check in our deluxe junk. Welcome drink will be served by our friendly staff. The cruise will start the journey around the Halong Bay with the first stop at Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave. While we are cruising, our delicious lunch will be served. We will catch first view of Tuan Chau island, Dinh Huong island, fighting cock islets…. In the afternoon, we can relax on boat to see the beautiful view of the Bay and have time to swim at Titov beach, enjoy sunset…. Dinner will be come at around 07:00Pm. Overnight on boat.

Day 3 : Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L)

Getting up a little bit early today to do morning exercise and enjoy sunrise on the Bay, after that we will enjoy our breakfast at around 07:00AM. Our cruise will keep on cruising around the Bay in another part of the Bay for us to visit Bai Tu Long Bay, Con Coc island, Con Rong island, fishing village, Bai Tho Mountain and Hon Gai surroundings… At 11:00 we will enjoy the last meal on the boat and we will leave the junk at around 12:00. Our awaiting vehicle will transfer us back to Hanoi. Our trip will be ended at around 04:00 in the afternoon. Afterwards we will see the famous Water Puppet show at The Water Puppet Theater on the banks of Hoan Kiem Lake. Back hotel after finishing this show.

Day 4: Hanoi City Tour – Night Train To Hue (B, L)

This morning we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex which consists of Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, his house on stilts, the outside of the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda and the impressive Temple of Literature. The remainder of the day will be free to explore the Old Quarter. After a late check-out from our hotel and dinner, we will transfer to the train station for our overnight journey on the Reunification Express to Hue

Day 5 : Hue Cycling around 30km (B, L)

We will arrive at Hue in the early morning and transfer to our hotel.  After breakfast we will meet our additional crew who will be driving the support vehicles. We will also be introduced to our bicycles. We will receive a briefing on how to ride the bikes and how to handle the traffic in Vietnam. We will then set out for our first ride in to visit the old Imperial Citadel, the Forbidden Purple City, and the Imperial Museum before lunch.
In the afternoon we cycle to the eccentric Tu Duc tomb. Time permitting; we will then cycle to Thien Mu Pagoda.

Day 6 : Hue – Hoi An Cycling Around 40km (B)

We will drive out of the city then cycle on the Highway through some little passes to Lang Co beach where we will have lunch. Afterwards we will drive to the top of the Hai Van Pass, admiring the wonderful views as we ride to Danang, then by bus to the charming old city of Hoi An. In the evening we will take a short walking tour through the old streets of Hoi An

Day 7 : Hoi An – Kon Tum Cycling Around 90km (B, L, D)

Today is a more challenging day as we leave Highway 1 and head inland towards Quang Nam. We will cycle only part of today, along undulating roads with stunning photographic opportunities. We will ride past many remote villages, tropical forests, over bridges and along quiet but scenic roads. We will stay overnight in Kon Tum.

Day 8 : Kon Tum - Pleiku - cycling around 40km (B, L, D)

This morning we take our bus out of Kon Tum before we start cycling. We spend a pleasant day on gentle rolling hills passing numerous small villages and rubber plantations. Pleiku is situated 600km from Saigon and 200km from Buon Me Thuot. Overnight stay at Pleiku.

Day 9 : Pleiku - Buon Me Thuot - cycling around 80km (B, L, D)

Today's part-cycle ride is on an excellent road, Highway 14, taking in 197 kms of undulating and scenic upland. We pass by coffee plantations and national parks on our way to the largest town in the Western Highlands, and the capital of Dac Lac Province. Overnight Buon Me Thuot.

Day 10 : Buon Me Thuot - Dalat - cycling around 75 km (B, L, D)

We leave Buon Me Thuot early in the morning by bus out of the biggest coffee city in Vietnam. Our journey today is on a fine road with little traffic. The road is narrow but quite good, the view, with its vast coffee and rubber plantations, will take your breath away.  Overnight stay at Dalat.

Day 11 : Dalat - cycling around 30km (B)

Today there is a cycle tour round Dalat's historical villas and a visit to an ethnic minority village, a crazy house and King Bao Dai's Palace.  During the rest of the day you will be at leisure, so you can go to Dalat market where you can try many different coffees at one of the coffee shops overlooking Xuon Huong lake. Overnight stay at Dalat.

Day 12 : Dalat - Mui ne - cycling around 70km (B, L)

Today we take the bus a short distance before commencing our cycle ride down the coastal route. This offers wonderful ocean views with a climb up some quiet roads through rolling hills and remote Cham villages. After lunch we will continue cycling to Mui Ne. Overnight at Mui Ne beach.

Day 14 : Mui Ne – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

The morning is at your leisure. This afternoon we will drive by bus to Ho Chi Minh City (about 4 hours)

Day 15 : Saigon City tour – Cu Chi Tunnel - Saigon (B, L)

At 8:00am, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and we will star our full day Saigon City tour and Cu Chi Tunnel. The sightseeing tour acquaints us with the city's some major sights. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale.

We then drive this afternoon to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network of approximately 200 kilometers constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence.

Day 16 : Saigon – Mekong Delta - Saigon (B, L)

The trip to Mekong Delta offers a glimpse into the agrarian life of the vibrant southern Delta region as we wind our way through the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. From our boats, we are able to closely observe the daily rituals of river life and participate in the bustling commercial activities as we buy our fruits from the floating market. Along the way, we will visit an orchard farm, handicraft village, and a land market with an abundance of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables.

This morning pick up from your hotel at 8am we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for it's floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. Visit Orchards farms, handicraft village,. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Towards the end of the day we drive back to Saigon.

 

Day 17 : Saigon Departure (B)

There is a free time for you to relax or further explore Saigon. The trip ends after your transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure.
